Nira-x: Cyberangel

Nira-X is going on 25 years and we're marking the event with Committed Comics, to bring back the Entity Comics hero/bounty hunter in style.

Summer 2018, Committed Comics will be publishing a new Nira-X story, that also collects a majority of her Entity Comics adventures, titled Nira-X: Cyberangel GROUND ZERO. This new issue #0 marks a new chapter and sets a new tone for the Cyberangel moving forward. I hope that you'll join us and enjoy the new stories and adventures as much as we have fun drawing and writing them! On the Earth of 2192, Cyberangels protect key artifacts, that were placed around the world, to safeguard the survivors of their time-line against an evil,  power hungry, psychotic monster, known as Paradoxx.  He nearly destroyed the planet, as a scientist, before he became the infamous creature. Driven by his own fear of death and human weakness, he nearly destroyed humanity altogether. The artifacts keep this world safe from him... but who placed them there? And who empowered the Cyberangels to protect this world in the first place? Nira doesn't realize that she may be the key to that puzzle--

Nira's wardrobe is a changing canvas--and that's how she likes it.

Nira's look and choice of wardrobe is more than just a fashion statement. For Nira, her outward appearance is a direct reflection of her mood, her intentions and a tell of how much energy she has stored up at the moment. There are, however, some elements that remain constant. Her signature face dermal is always a solid triangular shape and her leg strap is almost always visible on her right leg. Without the tech on her leg strap, Nira's powers will go unchecked and build up too much for her to properly control--that would be bad.

While Nira's Cyberskin is phasing between different shapes, costumes and/or armor, it seems to take on the shape of a translucent liquid until it has settled back down and stabilized itself again. All of these forms are stored as files on the tech belt on her leg--as well as the shapes and functions of different weapons that she likes to use. All of her tech has very little to no power of it's own and relies completely on Nira's temporal energy, that she naturally builds up, in order to function. Without Nira directly channeling her energy through her Cyberskin, none of her tech would work at all. --and without her tech to focus and channel her energy, the power she builds up over time would be uncontrollable and destructive. Seems that one cannot live without the other. Nira will question whether or not this was by design-and if so, by who? Somebody does seem to be helping her along her way--
